The Beauty Room relocates to Alicetown, Lower Hutt - A vastly bigger space to accommodate growing clientele.

After years of searching and planning for the right location, The Beauty Room has relocated from petone to a beautifully designed space at 417 Cuba Street, Alicetown, Lower Hutt.

The spacious beauty salon is five times larger than its previous home. A relaxing, modern luxe space that has been thoughtfully designed.

The move coincides with their tenth birthday and will help cater to the business’s growth. The new salon boasts six therapy rooms, a nail room, spray tan room, relaxation areas which flow out to the outdoor rooftop space, retail product area, and parking directly outside. The salon offers an extensive range of maintenance services, advanced skin treatments and skin care, Endermologie body treatments and IPL hair removal, and now, thanks to the additional space can offer a double treatment room and deluxe spa pedicures with their 2 massaging pedicure chairs.

“Our vision from day one has always been to provide an exceptional, professional service by highly trained therapists in a relaxed environment. We have kept up with the latest treatments and technology to provide real results for our clients – we can make a real difference in how people look and feel, I love seeing our clients glowing as they walk out the door,” says Nicole Jones, Co-founder and Expert Skin Therapist, at The Beauty Room.

“I’m absolutely delighted with the new space which accommodates our growing team and clientele. Not only do we now have six therapy rooms, but the rooftop garden and relaxation room can convert into a space that allows us to offer larger group bookings, perfect for a spa day with your girls, mother/daughter treats, special birthday celebrations or pre-wedding treats. It’s everything I could have wanted and more!”

At the heart of the business is still the Dermalogica skin treatments executed by trained skin therapists who use the latest technology and treatment offerings to ensure their clients get amazing results. Services include massage, waxing, skin treatments, eyebrows, tinting, spray tanning, manicures and pedicures. They proudly use and stock Dermalogica professional and home skin care, Bondi Sands Tanning, Jane Iredale Makeup, Adashiko Collagen Powder and Pure Fiji body products. Nicole adds, “So much has changed in the last 10 years, we have grown from a little wee salon of three staff to a very busy, much larger salon with a team of 10 and a very loyal clientele. When we first took over the salon, I was only 18 - I have grown with the business and have learnt so much over the years.”

Nicole runs the business with her mother, Carolyn Moore, who manages the business side of the salon. “My mum is my best friend - she is the most supportive person I know and I love working alongside her in our business.”

The contemporary new space is open 6 days a week with 4 late nights to accommodate our clients needs, bookings can be made online www.thebeautyroom.co.nz or call 04 939 4440.
